Finally an update...

After a rough 1st game. Hunter received the game ball on his 2nd game. He had 4 RBI's. The team is doing well. Hunter says it get more fun every time he gets hits. We are proud of him.
Now for the more important stuff. School! The progress reports came out. Both kids the did same or better for all subjects, nothing lower than a B...for that we are extra proud of them. School is getting a bit harder especially for Kimber as they get into harder math and english assignments. She is doing really well. Hunter is reading away. He reminds me of Kevin when he was small. I remember driving in the car with him and he was reading every road sign. That is what Hunter is doing too, it's funny.

The latest going ons....

The other day, Hunter's first grade class was in charge of Chapel. They all had to memorize there pieces. It was really cute. Christine took some pictures with her phone because Mom forgot her camera.

Kimber continues to love dance class. They are working hard on their recital in June, that girl has rhythm (she must be channeling Dad although it's not the robot...lol; remember Dad's interpretation of the Robot?). Her teacher placed this shy girl smack dab front and center for their routine.
Hunter is working hard at Baseball. His team this year is the Dodgers. He is having a crazy practice schedule, late times in this freezing night weather (well freezing for us). He has a different coach this year and it's taken a bit for Hunter to come out of his shell. Believe it or not, he is a little shy too.
Here is another Hunter story funnyI think. He was asking me the other day if he had been baptized. I told him no not yet. I told him that I was baptized, and Daddy wasn't. He walked off pondering this...I was doing dishes, he came up and really insisting, mom I want to be baptized I said OK, we will discuss it. He kept on and on (you know how kids do) I want it, you baptize me...I told him I can't, he just went on and on. So I splashed his face with a handful of water and said there your baptized. He had the biggest smile on his face and ran into Daddy and Kimber, look I'm Baptized, I'm Baptized... I hope nobody thinks this is sacrilegious. It was just a funny little story.

Sing like no one is listening.....

I wanted to give a big Thank You to Uncle Ed, Uncle Gary and Kiki for giving Hunter his Ipod shuffle for Christmas. He listens to it everywhere, and sings at the top of his lungs wherever we are. He has given us and everyone in earshot smiles and laughs. It may be the words he thinks he hears...lol

A couple of things...

It's been awhile since I've blogged. We've been busy trying to get back into the routine of school and work again.
Kimber started back at Girl Scouts and dance class. Kimber loves dance especially now that her friend Kiandra is there too. She knows she has to work hard and listen to what Emi (the instructor) wants them to do or else they may have to do extra exercises. He's tough but its effective. There is going to be a recital in June, I can't wait for that.
Hunter has been sick with an ear infection and a terrible cold. He has been to the doctor because anything ear related now we have to extra careful because of his hearing aids. I guess the ears have to remain clear for the aids to work, now that make sense, huh. He's been extra frustrated lately for two reasons 1) His ears, he says; "Mommy I can't hear even with my hearing aids in", poor guy. 2) His favorite "scratchy blanket" is always missing.

Well I think I found the culprit.

'Coco' aka the blanket bandit, totally busted!
